This park contains a wonderful hiking trail at just a little over two miles long with viewing of many Wisconsin ecosystems.  It seems we did the trail from finish to start but that's okay.  We viewed beaver dams and two trees which beavers had obviously taken down.  There are areas of oak forest, tamaracks and wetlands.  A pleasurable way to spend a fall day.  There were a couple of picnic tables, a public restroom and ample parking.

Its a small park if you don't count all the trailes that lead around the lake. But it is peaceful and if you so choose you could relax on the hill and have a cook out on one of the many grills around. And the dock was recently rebuit now there is a longer walk way but the vistas are amazing and watching a meteor  shower here is breath taking.

Different ecosystems on the 1.6 Mile Ice Age trail. Picnic area and pit toilets.

Beautiful place but bugs are horrible....isn't WI beautidul
