The hotel was fantastic! The view from our balcony was amazing. The ability to walk out of our balcony door straight onto the sand was so convenient. The staff was super friendly and the room was nice. It was a great place to bring our dog and have a fun little getaway. I will definitely be back!

If you are looking for a no frills place to stay on the Outer Banks, this is your place. This is an older hotel but the room was clean and comfortable. Everyone there was extremely nice. The room includes free breakfast. The location couldn't be better. If you are looking for luxury, keep looking. But if you are looking for a clean, comfortable place to stay with an affordable price you should give them a try.

Arrived feeling excited expecting a beachfront room as booked over 12 months in advance and ended up getting a stunning view of the car park not getting to see the beach at all. The room was relatively small but beds were comfortable, getting in and out of the room was an effort in itself as the front door jammed. I absolutely would NOT recommend this hotel good luck if you stay here as we were definitely disappointed especially as we did not get the room we booked and we traveled a long way to get here.

We arrived for a weekend away before school started. When we arrived our room key did not work they moved us to another room which was not as nice as the one we were originally staying in. Once we got into the new room the sheets were stained and the "queen size" bed was the smallest I have ever seen! The carpet was nasty and we had to wear our shoes the whole time. The bed was hard as a brick and the pillows were small and the sheets we couldn't get under due to the fear of the dirtiness of the hotel. The sheets did get changed the code for our key didn't work once the maids cleaned the sheets. The lady behind the desk gave a new key. It was very hot in the room we cut the AC down as low as it could go and the room did not cool off any. Breakfast was decent the lady working the breakfast was the best she was very kind and courteous she was the best person at the hotel we dealt with. When we check out my husband told the lady working behind the desk our complaints and we were told that if the stay was so bad we could go elsewhere next time. Very rude and not professional at all. I DO NOT recommend staying there.

Overall the experience is satisfactory. However we stayed multiple days and the floors weren't vacuumed, the toiletries weren't restocked and they didn't take all the dirty towels and didn't replace the floor mat. On the plus side, the breakfast was nice, the location is amazing and the staff are all friendly .
