Story

INTRODUCTION TO JCCA:

The school was founded in 1982 by parents desiring their children to be
influenced by Biblical principles along with academic studies. It originally was
located in the basement of the Johnson Corners Wesleyan Church. High
commitment and involvement is expected of all JCCA parents. The school remains
committed to providing an alternative in education stressing the importance of
having God at the center of the learning experience. The school incorporates
traditional curriculum, computer based learning, video instruction, and internet
services.

LOCATION:

JCCA is located on Hwy 23 in the Johnson Corners community of
McKenzie County. The school is 14 miles east of Watford City, 8 miles
south of Keene, 16 miles west of Mandaree, and 32 miles southwest of
New Town.

Mission

The primary objective of the Academy is to reinforce and supplement the
Christian home and church. We seek to assist Christian parents in training
their children in the nurture and admonition of the Lord. Jesus Christ is the
central person and the Bible is the most important text at the Academy.
Above all we emphasize God's plan for each person to know the love of
Christ, which surpasses knowledge. (Eph. 3:19)

The purpose of the school is to further the students' educational process both
academically and spiritually and prepare them to be useful, excellent servants of
Christ and outstanding citizens of the United States of America. JCCA purposes to
use all funds received or held for the benefit of current students based on need or
achievement to attend JCCA or institutions of higher education.
