I don't usually do this, but I have continuously felt like the ladies behind the desk do not want to give you the time of day. I sent paperwork in for my ST disability to be filled out last week and they said they would get back to me for payment. Today at my appointment they had no recollection of it. I gave them another copy and they charged me the $15 it would take to process it. I called back later in the day to give them a fax number to send it back to. The girl, Hallie, did not want to give me the time of day, and made me feel like I was an imposition to her. She noted it would take 2 weeks to get back and I asked that she get it back sooner since I sent it in the week prior and never heard from anyone. She brushed that off and gave one word answers in order to get me off the phone. It will be interesting to see if they get it back to me within a week, since I was told it would be back within two weeks of when I sent the paperwork in.

I started visiting Johnson County Women's Care when I first found out I was pregnant back in 2015, and they took extremely good care of me from the very first check-up to the day I delivered. This is probably the first medical office where I felt like a human, and not another number. I felt cared for, and my choices/opinions were always respected in regards to delivering my child.

The staff at the Franklin office are very nice and helpful. I feel comfortable with Dr. Norris.

LONG BUT WORTH THE READ. I have to say that I was extremely dissapointed with my overall experience at both the women's care group franklin office, and the whiteland office. I made an appointment at the Franklin office to discuss birth control. My appointment was made two weeks in advanced. The day before, I was told that the doctor I was to see was not going to be in the office that day, and that I had to reschedule. I did, for the Whiteland office. When I arrived, the staff at the desk were talking, eating, and basically doing everything except their jobs. After they finally realized I was there, I did the paperwork and was sent to a room. After sitting in the waiting room, I hear the doctor, Emily Kline say "So this little girl wants some birth control." All I could think was, "Wow, unprofessional." Then, I felt like she was trying to pressure me into getting a IUD because it turns out, she's the one who performs them! After I finally told her I didn't want it, she referred me to another doctor. I was told to call and schedule my appointment during my period, and that it would be added to my records. I called on my cycle, and they had no record of me needing to come back. After talking to two different people I was finally able to make an appointment. When I got there, I was asked if I was there for my postpartum visit, which really showed me how unorganized this place actually is. Then, I had to sit in my exam room making sure my insurance covered the birth control I chose, because even though I was told it would be verified, it wasn't. This place is awful and I will definitely not be back, and recommend to anyone to take the time and find a better place than this one.

My experience with this the women's care group was terrible. They charge you for every little thing even things that are not necessary. They made me take a pregnancy test which was not needed. It was 33 dollars for this test that you can buy for 5 dollars in the store. Otherwise they would not perform my test, which was a microscopy test and biopsy. I had to miss work for this test, which I understand and I had to miss work for the test results, which I did not understand. I am a single mom and I have to support my kids and I can't miss work. They said I had to come into the office for my results and they were just fine. This could of been done in a letter or on the phone. They also charged me for the follow-up appointment, which was over 77 dollars and I missed work. I will not be having anymore test done at this place in the future. They are only out to make money. That was my experience. I paid out the ass for everything I have an HSA account with a high deductible.
