I can say from my experience with them, they take a lot of pride in what they do and provide high quality work. Many of the reviews are older. 

Additionally, during major weather events it is common with any major roofing contractor for timetables to shift. Going with a fly by night company may provide you with a quick roof in these situations, but will hardly yield you the quality you receive from this company. 

Afterall, the warranty is only as good as the company that guarantees it.

I couldn't select anything less than one star. I honestly would give Johnson Roofing absolutely no stars because their customer service is abysmal! We signed our contract with the company at the end May. We were scheduled to have our roof and gutters replaced June 10-12. No one called and no one showed up to complete the service. After calling in and complaining, we were informed that they would arrive June 18-19. They did show up and replaced our roofing. However, they took off our existing gutters and did not replace them. As of July 24th, we still do not have gutters on our home after having two different companies stop by and complete estimates. We were told at the beginning of July that we were next on the list and it would be a couple of weeks. Those turned out to be more empty promises from Johnson Roofing. I would not recommend this company to anyone. We have made many phone calls to try and resolve the situation but it is very difficult to even reach anyone within the company. The sales person who sold us the service doesn't even answer or return our calls. I am greatly disappointed that Johnson Roofing would treat their customers this way!

Roof was installed within a week of my approval.  When extra problems were found they went above and beyond to make sure the leak problems would not come back during the roof replacement.
