This place is so famous for cinnamon rolls it's easy to forget it's a truck stop.
  
It was easy and roomy parking the truck and the showers were cleaner than most.
  
Colorado has too few truck stops and rest areas so there's not a lot of competition.  However, this place competes with any truck stop we've been to.

Prices very good, but you have to purchase your starch item.  You get your protein and veggies thats it.   I got the special of the day BBQ plate, chicken was slightly under done. ( meaning didn't eat) Ribs and pulled pork were highly peppered (spice not heat). Tried the famous cinnamon roll. Really heavy on the gut. But for the size and price might get again and eat in 2 sitting. Some for now then later.

Food was cold service was horrible. Manager was rude. Its a shame! That was a highlight of traveling to and from Denver. I will not be back.  If you want cold food and rude staff stop there. Otherwise keep moving. You aren't missing a thing.

I think it is probably worth more like 3 stars lately but I grew up coming here and I have an affinity for this place so it will always be 5 stars for me. Awesome pie! Decent diner food, great late night grilled cheese and really nice showers and bathrooms. What more could you ask for?

Once a wide spot on the road and not much reason to get excited,  this is a first rate diner and truck stop. Kid friendly,  clean,  AWESOME Cinnamon rolls. If you stop for nothing else but a Cinnamon roll,  you score!
