Top-quality craftsmanship and materials.  Absolutely the best guitar you can buy at this price, no question.
Beautiful figured and aged wood for superior tone, all the little high-quality touches (like blind fret tang slots!).  
I have 6 of his guitars, and they are my favorites.  Try out his acrylic fretboards: mirror-like shine, extremely fast, and adds a crystal-clear chime almost exactly like an ebony fretboard.
They are all very easy to play, and have great tone.  I'm currently contemplating my next purchase from him...hardware color, fretboard material, inlay material and shape...all are no-cost customization options.

Jon made me a new neck for one of his older used electric guitars I had purchased on the Bay, and WOW!!!
 Craftsmanship is Fantastic and Jon was very helpful with picking out the new neck.
 I will be back for another one of his custom electric masterpiece guitars.
 Thanks again Jon!!!
