I purchased a beautiful Jonathan Lewis sofa from Mathis Brothers in Tulsa.  These are special order and expensive.  The sofa "looks"  and feels fine. However, if I ever plan to have it steam cleaned it will literally ruin the furniture.  Jonathan Lewis uses fabric with red ink on the inside of it.  I assume to track inventory, they write on the fabrics with red ink. So if it gets damp or wet in the least, the ink bleeds through thus ruining your sofa.  My friend also has the same problem with her Jonathan Lewis furniture.  She sat on her sofa with wet hair and the sofa turned pink from the bleeding of the ink.  I have removed my cushion fabric to see if it is everywhere and it is.  Hopefully I don't stain the almost white fabric, or the whole sofa will be ruined.  I reached out to Jonathan Lewis and the answer I received was "call the store you purchased it from".  When I did that, the answer I received was "you did not purchase the furniture protection plan".  This is not something I should have to purchase the protection plan for.  This is manufacturer error.  I will never again purchase Jonathan Lewis furniture as the quality is terrible.

I contacted Jonathan Louis corporate today , trying to locate a specific style and option in their sectionals. we own two other pieces of their furniture and we are happy with it from style, quality to comfort. But their customer service representatives are a joke and don't know anything about their product lines. I know more about options and styles from looking at their various pieces of furniture at different stores.  You would think thy would educate their reps to know what they carry and make as it  would only increases sales and future orders .   now since they cant answer a product question and help locate what we are looking for, we will go to a different manucturer

I had a poor experience as well. I paid 1500$ for a couch only to have it start sinking in within 6 months. Their warranty is poor and most importantly, you CANNOT get in touch with them. They make it impossible to find a phone number that someone actually answers. Please do not waste your money on this company. I normally do not write reviews but felt it was necessary in this case. I have the feeling the only positive review here was write by someone at the company...
