Mr. Rizza (Joe) was recommended to me by a prominent podiatrist, and I have been very pleased with the care I've received. I like the fact that Joe takes the time to explain what he's doing and why he is doing it. He's friendly and chatty, and I like that versus cold and clinical. In my observations, Joe has always treated everyone with the utmost respect and focus. I would not hesitate to recommend Joe should anyone in my family need a physical therapist in the future, knock on wood. I'm sorry and puzzled that Serene's had a different experience, but I just wanted to give the other side of the coin.

I went in for an appointment, because it's within my insurance's network. I was made to wait for more than 50 minutes although I did arrive on-time. The therapist was not very helpful. His language and behavior were not very professional in my opinion. He also got up to answer his calls twice during the session and each time took longer than 5 minutes. After that, he asked his assistant to help me to do 15 minutes of excise. At the end, the assistant gave me a bag of ice to put on my knee. I got out and never went back.

The worst part was they billed my insurance for treatments I did NOT receive. I called back and they did not respond. I got the EOB statement from my insurance company and they definitely overpaid this horrible place and my co-insurance was supposed to be 10% only. 6 months after the appointment, they sent me another bill and indicated that my insurance paid them over $200, but it's not enough and asked me to pay a lot more money. I later on went to another physical center in Downtown Palo Alto, and they only charge about $100 per visit to my insurance company with much greater services, attitudes and equipment. 

Don't go to this place. THEY ARE MORE THAN HORRIBLE.
