Words cannot describe the experience I had at this place...  I ordered the Spicy Chicken Teriyaki for my first time here and my, was I blown away. Perfectly cooked inside with a nice crispy crunchy outside that satisfied you with every bite. The sweet, tangy, and spicy sauce the chicken was marinated with assisted the chicken with an explosion of flavor each time.  The dish came with a side of rice and complimentary salad. Both helped refresh your taste buds and make sure the overbearing flavor of the sauce wasn't too overpowering. I recommend mixing a portion of the rice with a portion of chicken and sauce as it gives the dish a different & more neutral taste.  If I didn't allude to it enough, personally, I feel like I had to take a break from the amount of sauce that was on the chicken. Sure it tasted amazing, but after a while I needed to relax and eat some rice or salad to reset myself. Plus a couple points for adding the side dishes maybe they had this specific issue in mind?.  Regardless, fast service, HIGH quality food, polite and welcoming staff, only gripe I had with the place was that some of the tables weren't cleaned. Maybe it was just an off day for the staff but if they keep on top of it all the time then this place is definitely a perfect 5 stars. Right now, I'll give it a 4.7 or 4.8.  DEFINITELY check this place out! Thank you!

Owner was very friendly. Suggested salad dressing to go with the don katsu. Delicious!! Great food, generous portion for a reasonable price. Restaurant was very clean and well maintained.  Will definitely be back!Food: 5/5

Our fave go to teriyaki place! Way better than the food court version! You can taste the quality and their service always feel very personal and welcoming! Their own teriyaki and salad dressing sauce are to die for! Worth buying and taking home!  Parking: Lots of parking as they share it with other stores in a plaza

By far one of the best Chicken Teriyaki and Chicken Katsu I've had, the Katsu was delightfully crunchy and grilled chicken was perfectly charred! Daniel was very helpful in his suggestions, now to try the teriyaki beef!Food: 5/5

This place has amazing food. Korean barbecue become one of my favorites spots. The owner very friendly and kind. It’s a good vibe place, with many choices of entries and with the mindset of a fast food restaurant. A little overprice but they have lunch specials plus they serve plenty to share. I had the classic chicken teriyaki.  I recommend it, they also have kids menu.

I'm was so happy to find Joy Teriyaki today. I miss them from the Glendale Heights location which was closer to my home. I was working in the area and they were nearby. Same great flavor, or dare I say even better than I remember. Then absence does make the heart grow fonder. Don't sleep on this amazing teriyaki spot. Oh. they have the best salad dressing too. Its makes a very simple salad incredible. It's like crack!
