10/10 rating & here’s why! For starters, I was reluctant because of the mixed reviews. It gave the impression that the Desoto Location wasn’t good but Let me tell you… It was amazing! I ordered the Turkey Leg Stuffed w/Lobster Mac and cheese and it was delicious! Not too salty or spicy which is just like I like it! Just enough to be considered comfort food. And the serving was big, I couldn’t eat it all in one sitting. It is a bit pricier but I definitely think it’s worth it. This dish is definitely one of my favs. The way the Turkey SLID OFF THAT BONE sent me straight to my happy place I’m a foodie if you couldn’t tell. And let me not forget to mention that I didn’t start eating until I made it home like 15 minutes later and when I opened it up IT WAS STILL HOT! Like howww???? I love my food hot, fresh, and perfectly seasoned, and it was ALL 3! What’s my point?? If you haven’t tried it yet… just go. It was worth every penny to me! Oh yeah, that sweet potato cake Blessed my soul too! It was the icing on the cake!
Food was a 7 out of 10. Very hot and fresh. But flavor wise it's a 7. It looks amazing but it's nothing you can't make at home. Or get at chilis restaurants. I was expecting bold flavors. I'm florida and me and my wife stopped through. My lady Turkey plate with Mac was so plain. Again it look so amazing. But it's just not what it look like. I don't mind the price if the food is slap yo baby good. But for regular food. 47 dollars for them plates wasn't it. Again if it taste really flame ill pay whatever. Would I come back?? Idk.
This is by far THE best restaurant I have ever been to. The food is 10/10. I went for my second time last night and got the turkey leg stuffed with lobster Mac n cheese picture attached which was phenomenal! The first time I went I got the Cajun pasta which was seasoned to perfection. The margarita/daiquiri mix will have you feeling good too! Will absolutely be coming back!
I was very disappointed in the service not to mention the food. I was led to this location through a friend. I was so excited about this food experience she said she had. Well I'm sorry I was not happy nor satisfied with the food or the cashier. The gentlemen who prepared the food were very nice. Maybe their other selection are better. I will try something different if in the neighborhood. But I still can't get over how the lady that takes the orders and your money is so rude.
One thing I'm gonna do is support black own businesses. Idk if today was a off day or what but the cashier was so unhappy poor thing. She didn't greet or smile and she made the comment when asked about recommendations "that's why we have pictures". Either way we ordered just to see if her confidence showed in the food . Well all the reviews of 5 stars are bogus. Food sucked got dirty rice with shrimp Alfredo for $25 was bland. Now the cake is good that's all that should be sold.
First timer! The food was actually pretty delicious! I ordered the Stuff Turkey Leg with Cajun Shrimp Pasta and the Stuff Turkey Leg with Dirty Rice tasted very flavorful. I couldn't find the place because its in side of another business named The Market Place so do look for a restaurant but look for a Market Place and walk inside the look for the food center
Run, don’t walk to JS International Grill! My husband and I frequent this place at least three times a week. He’s a huge fan of the jerk chicken, rice, and cabbage. In fact he loves the cabbage so much he always ask for extra although it only comes in one size. I tried the Cajun shrimp pasta which was amazing. It was fresh and seasoned to perfection. They give you such a large portion that I ate on it for two days. I’m definitely eager to try out the rest of the menu but so far what I have tried was a 10/10. Of course it’s cooked to order so I call it in and it’s always ready within 20-30 minutes.
I tried J's International grill and it didn't disappoint. I just knew these were real Oxtails but they were 100% vegan. The flavor and texture was shockingly delicious. The Curry chick-en, rice, and cabbage made you want to slap your......well you get it! You can also take family members that are not vegan. They whip up meals for any eating style. They even have things that are not on the menu like egusi soup, okra soup, and fufu. It was so good I'm headed back on Saturday with my family. They have a few wines as well but are adding frozen drinks, karaoke, and more coming soon. The staff are very friendly! The owner Ms. J aka Jannie is an artist so the atmosphere and your food will be very creative. Chef Stael will come out to get your take on the flavors and the host and waiter Yuliya makes sure your experience there is a entire journey. Listen!! If you’ve been wanting or waiting to try this place, head over there now. I’ve literally been wanting to try this place for over a year and when I tell you it was definitely worth it. Now my husband has been going in there for months ordering their cakes. I ordered the jerk chicken with dirty rice and cream sauce and my husband ordered the salmon with dirty rice they actually made his dirty rice with mushrooms Chef’s KissThe strawberry cake was cool and the sweet potato pie was delicious!! They give you very generous portions and worth the price. Now you’ll wait, but the food is made to order. Today I ate here for the first time with my very picky partner. The food was outstanding. It was seasoned well and full of flavor. Our waitress was Z and she was super friendly and knowledgeable about the menu. I had shrimp and dirty rice. He had oxtails and dirty rice. For an appetizer we had beef nachos but we ate those before I thought to take a pic. The chef even came out to greet us and explain his style of cuisine. We will most definently be back soon. Highly recommend!
