We arrived late enough we had to get take out and they were very apologetic about that, but we did and I'm very glad we did. We got the fajita mix and the Caldo de Res. The fajitas were very tasty with a good mix of beef, shrimp, and chicken and all the toppings. The beef soup was amazing, with huge chunks of beef, plenty of cabbage, carrots, squash, and corn and a lovely side of coconut lime rice, cilantro, onions, and chopped chillies. The broth was rich with flavor and perfectly seasoned and even after a trip across town was super hot still. A very comforting meal.
Authentic Mexican food! 10/10. Even though I didn't like the mole, I think that is an acquired taste but everything was amazing. I drove out my way just to come here. There were some things I didn't like how the locals stared at us, that was super weird. But I've there before so no big deal. And how the staff is a little socially awkward lol but they're nice ppl...also not a big deal.
The food was great! "However" the service was not so good. I literally couldn't get anyone to get bk to our table for a simple refill and when I did ask, the waitress literally rolled her eyes lol. Same thing when I asked for a to go box. With how good the food was if they learn to have better customer service skills they could have a great business.
So glad we stopped here. I go monthly from Lehigh to Miami and always try to stop at an Authentic Mexican restaurant in this area! This by far has been the best! Great prices, good portions, and service was great! Will definitely be my go to from now on!
It’s a clean and comfortable place to take lunch, the food taste good not to much. However I definitely could come back when I when there
If I could give this restaurant a half a star I would the food was not good at all it was old food the seafood that I was trying to eat was from Winn-Dixie I’m assuming because it was not even made right the tacos were cold and it seemed old and his food was so greasy we ordered chicken wings and they were so sort to you could not even eat them we did not get it taken off of our order she did not remove the remove it from it we were charged for everything and we didn’t even eat the food I would never go to this place again and I would never recommend this place to anyone do not eat there it is not good food and my auntie got food poisoning from it I should take them to hospital bill so they could pay for it …. We did not eat our food it all said on the table!!!!
3-1/2 s. They gave a big selection but service was slow and quality was so so. Will return to try the marisco caldos seafood soup.
Guacamole was fresh and bursting with cilantro flavor, enchiladas were good, firitas and rice were yum! No margaritas though.
Great authentic Mexican food. Don’t be in a hurry…it may take a bit to get served. Worth the wait.
Service was good, food was slightly warm, tacos served without requested cheese , guacamole was outstanding, also the toco sauce was homemade and very good. The beef soup was good the beef was little tough. Overall the Mexican food was good however just mild. However we would go back a second time. Rating 3+
