Love the breakfast tacos. They are the best. Have liked everything I have eaten here. Coffee too strong and bitter for me. Wish they served their Mexican hot chocolate all day. It is delicious.

Quaint little Mexican restaurant.  Serve good bakery items.  The meals food not feel authentic Mexican though.  Also don't but their patties at night so they are usually stale.

I'll be honest. I was a little let down after reading the reviews here. The tortilla chips definitely were NOT made in-house. Curious, since they do have a bakery business. Small menu to choose from. They do not serve beer, which I've never seen in a Mexican food restaurant, ever. The food was okay. Service could use a tune-up. Don't believe all the reviews you read was my lesson for today.

GREAT FOOD lacking customer service. I ordered a birthday cake specifically with directions and when I picked it up completely different and loaded with nuts. As I told the owner this is not what I ordered he was like okay well you don't have to take it, but the party wss in a couple hours! No empathy or concern, I had to take the cake I did not have time to go make one or get another one. He still charged me full price and sent me off. I know my review makes no difference, I just hate when local owners don't try to make it right for customers.

Amazing bakery and tamales. Seriously,  tamales are home made. You won't be disappointed. Especially if you are a tamale lover and know how hard it's to find tamales on Austin. What gives?  The bakery is always fresh and perfectly done.
