I work around the corner from Jubilee and would consider myself a lunchtime regular - I probably spend about $60 per week there. That stops today. When ordering my lunchtime salad, I informed the man who was going to make the salad that I have a severe nut allergy, and politely asked him to change his gloves. He have me attitude, telling me that he had only used those gloves for one other customer. His colleague stepped in and he then washed his hands and changed his gloves, muttering the whole time. A minute later, when I asked him to chop the salad and to please wash the chopper first, he rolled his eyes and yelled something inaudible (or perhaps in Spanish) that I didn't understand, before proceeding to chop my salad with a dirty chopper. His colleagues were laughing - not sure what about though. Playing around with someone's life isn't particularly funny. From now on, I'll get my salads at Sweetgreen, where the mention of an allergy elicits attention from a manager, an automatic hand wash and glove change, and care throughout the process. They value their customers' lives, unlike Jubilee.

Great place to go grab a delicious lunch. There is so much variety and the food on the hot bar is delicious. The food prices are not as pricey as Essen and more flavorful.

Fine grocery store but expiration date always has to be checked because they have a tendency to put expired product first.

I go to Jubilee all the time, as I work across the street. They have pretty fair prices, especially on food that they make. The buffet has a pretty wide variety, and the people who work there stick around.
