Yay! Some variety and boba in Sellwood! Junbi specializes in matcha - good quality but very subtle vs in your face.  They have many options. Whether you prefer more milk, less milk, they have a million options! The first time I went, I got the mango matcha with milk.. meaning it’s more tea based and only a splash of milk. I’d give that a 6/10. Just wasn’t a lot of flavor and I prefer more of a milky consistency.  I went again and stuck with the classic matcha latte consistency but made it Guava as their new flavor. Their house purée was flavorful. Even with 50%, it was still too sweet for me! Drinks are around $7

I ordered a salmon rice ball forgot to take photo and a strawberry matcha latte with boba  the salmon rice ball was super good and I immediately wished I had ordered two. The matcha is wonderful as well! Ordered it half sweet and it was perfect to me, I would imagine full sweetness would be more like a dessert to me. You can tell the tea they use it's high quality. The staff are also very friendly and knowledgeable about the product

Loved ordering our drinks from Junbi! We ordered the mango Matcha and Madagascar vanilla. Both drinks had the perfect amount of sweetness and flavor.  The workers were quick to greet us and take our orders.  The overall environment is cute! Aesthetically pleasing.  Rating 4 stars because alternative milk starts off at 75 cents.

The flavored iced matcha here is high quality and super refreshing. The dragonfruit matcha is a must-try. My favorite part of this spot is how customizable every drink is. You can choose the sweetness and ice level on everything without an up charge. It just adds to that overall refreshing experience.Food: 5/5

I love the concept of this place: no chemicals, better ingredients, positive vibes, etc.——but the experience just doesn't match up.  The limited "food" is microwaved in plastic wrap super toxic!, many of the the "unsweetened" drinks are still rife with sugar like total sugar bombs, because of the pastes and flavors they use.  Not to mention that while I was in the cafe for an hour, I saw a dozen or more children and adolescents being served excessively high-caffeine drinks read 16 ounce matcha, etc..  Anyway, I would love to be a super neighborhood champion, but at the end of the day, I don't think we need another expensive drink shop that peddles over-sweetened, over-caffeinated goods. It's no better than Starbucks, or the like.  Disappointed.

Love the new addition to Sellwood.  A wide selection of mostly matcha themed drinks, with a limited few food options. All of the drinks are fun if a little similar. The rice balls are surprise hit, but take a little longer for the staff to make than the drinks.  All of the staff have been incredibly nice. The building is beautiful, modern, and clean. Could use a little more seating.

I am so glad to have Junbi in the neighborhood! Having a matcha place that also sells other Asian styled drinks and flavors filled a gap for me. The matcha is great, and we recently tried their tropical refresher less sweet, less ice and their hojicha soft serve, and both were absolutely delicious. I loved the refresher so much, I got a second one . We’ve tried their onigiri too, and the spam and egg is our favorite.

Some of the best milk tea I've had in a while. While a bit on the pricier end it is still leagues better than other shops at a similar price point. Really recommend the Rose Water Matcha Latte.Food: 5/5

The Guava matcha caught my attention during one of the night markets I went to. It was delicious! After I learned they opened a location in Sellwood, I came to try again and I fell in love with their Cold Spiced Hojicha Latte, with Almond Jelly. I love this place!Service: 5/5

Got the Madagascar vanilla matcha latte and dirty matcha - both really great. The vanilla matcha was a little on the sweeter side so would probably adjust sweetness next time, but the boba was perfectly chewy! Soft opening hours are currently 11am-7pm Mon-Sat and 10am-6pm on Sundays at the time I’m writing this review 8/12/23.Food: 5/5
