If I could give this place no stars, I would! This daycare is run by a horrible director, and I would advise ALL mommies and daddies to steer clear of Ms. Gwen and this facility! My husband and I live a couple miles down the street in an awesome neighborhood in Carson, and when we had our daughter this year, we were excited about this daycare. Initially: the facility is great, and the teachers are sweet... But the director Ms. Gwen is horrible!!! We mistakenly ignored the few bad reviews that we read about this director, and wanted to form our own opinions. We were blinded by the clean facility and convenience down the street, and looked past our initial gut feeling that this woman was bad news. We just convinced ourselves that she ran a tight ship. Instead we discovered that she is like a dictator who is incredibly reactive, aggressive, intimidating, and confrontational. She understaffs her facility to save money and on multiple occasions I observed a 5:1 baby ratio, breaking the 4:1 licensing regulation.  The licensing board is currently investigating! They also were not properly documenting my daughter's feeds or her naps, so sometimes I had no idea when my six-month-old was eating or sleeping. When I raised my concern with them about this, we had to have a huge meeting and it was incredibly uncomfortable. She made me out to be like some demanding, annoying mother rather than a mom just needing communication. Also, they claim that they move the children from room to room in umbrella strollers, but on multiple occasions my daughter was strapped into a stroller with her blanket and a toy when I came to pick her up. They definitely seem to use these strollers as means to contain the babies when they are not able to be supervised. And! This woman was so crazy that we didn't feel comfortable giving her notice when we planned to un-enroll our daughter. This fear was confirmed the day that we informed her we would not be returning. She flipped out at my husband, and with a horrible attitude said she had "nothing to say to us" and yelled "PEACE" as she drove away! Unbelievably un-classy & definitely super unprofessional! We are so happy to be free from her wrath.
