We are a modern Buddhist Temple and Meditation Center located in Nob Hill. We offer weekly meditation classes, half-day workshops, and advanced retreats based on Buddha's ancient wisdom. You may also come to spend time in our inspiring meditation room, browse in our bookstore gift shop, and enjoy our World Peace Garden. Everyone is welcome!

There are some very nice people here, but this is not Buddhism, this is a cult along the lines of Scientology. Charging people for meditation is not ever right. The dharma is to always to be offered for free.

 Please, read up on this organization. It is a strange group that seems to hate the Dali Lama, and spends all of their time putting him down. Have a look in their bookstore. There are NO books from anyone other than their founder. Every sign of a cult is present if you know what to look for.

 I am a Buddhist of more than 25 years, and attended  a retreat at this place to actually see what they were about besides their friendly (perhaps too friendly) outer appearance. What I read and saw there made my hair stand up. They are just making it up as they go along, and it is one very scary place. That altar is nothing but Hinduism.

For someone that knows nothing about Buddhism, it's hard to discern their act. For me, it was in my face. Again, take the time to read about this group online, and if you have an interest in Buddhism, please find a legitimate group to investigate.

If you're looking for a way to really help yourself become the peaceful, positive person you know you can be, and really help this world in a deep, powerful way, look no further.  Very welcoming.  Super practical.  Ancient lineage with a modern presentation.

The Center is a great place to learn how to meditate. It is a peaceful refuge in a frantic world. A place to learn about finding peace and happiness in yourself. The people are always friendly, helpful and wonderful.
