Wonderful home of worship. Lovely tour - the guide was very knowledgeable and knew quite a bit of history. She had a fantastic cat bag. The gift shop had a wide selection of candle holders and mahjong themed presents.

Historic landmark of one of the oldest synagogues in the U.S founded in 1749. Beautiful architecture and friendly staff. Located centrally in downtown Charleston. It is the 2nd oldest synagogue in the US but the longest operational.

The tour guide, Sandra, was great. She knew the history of both the shul and the town. The place needs some TLC but has a great gift shop. I hope that helps with fundraising.
