Story

The Kahnderosa is located on
8.1 acres of beautiful riverfront. There is easy access to the water for fishing, tubing, or just cooling off.

Restroom and shower facilities on
the grounds are available to our patrons. Several areas within the park are shaded by large cotton wood and pine trees. A full section of grassy meadow is ideal for those who enjoy tenting. Three large fire pits are convenient for nightly bonfires.

There are 20 water & electric hook-ups which 4 have sewer and most have pull-thru convenience. An RV dumpsite is also located on the property.

We are the only Campground centrally located next to over 70 miles of paved bike trail called Trail of The Coeur d'Alenes that leads you through the wonderful scenic view of The Silver Valley. Bike, hike, roller blade, or just walk during the summer and enjoy cross country skiing in the winter.

Convenient Restaurants are located in Cataldo (Mission Inn) and at Exit #41 (Enaville Resort)

Keep us in mind next time you plan your vacation or a weekend getaway.
The Cataldo Mission, (Exit 39), is the oldest standing building in Idaho. Built by Jesuit Priests and members of the Coeur d’Alene Indian Tribe, the structure was completed in 1854. The foot thick walls were built without nails.
Venturing down to Exit #50, you’ll find the town Kellogg, where you can treat yourself to an awesome “mountain adventure”, by riding the world’s longest gondola to the top of Silver Mountain. In the summer, The Resort offers outdoor weekend concerts, patio dining, hiking, and other activities. Kellogg also offers museums, alpine shops, and the Dave Dose Trail of whimsical sculptures.
Historical Wallace, located at Exit # 62, is also a town full of museums, shops, and mining tours.
If you would like to extend your biking experience, The Hiawatha Trail is located at Ext #0. It takes you on an exciting venture of 12 miles downhill thru tunnels and over bridges that just take your breath away. Beautiful scenery that includes waterfalls, small animals and amazing natural plants.

Like it, and we WILL come back. LOCATION, LOCATION, LOCATION! But... it needs a few things changed, especially the men's restroom - no curtain or door for privacy after stepping out of the shower - in fact, when you step out of one of the stalls, you might find yourself naked and 2 feet away from someone brushing his teeth at a sink. No hooks to hang clothes - just a chair outside one of the two shower stalls (no room in front of the second stall). Restroom toilet stalls have curtains vs. doors, so very little privacy there either. The shower handle is too high on the wall for short people to even reach - especially children. My wife said the women's room was better, but I can only speak to the men's room. Also, there are only a few picnic tables in the whole campground - certainly far short of a table for each site. I understand people have stolen their tables in the past, but at $30 per night, there should be money to replace the tables and maybe buy a security camera or two. Overall, we like the place and do plan to come back - but mainly because you can't beat the location. If another park opens nearby right on the bike trail, we'll consider going there instead. That said, we did like the owners - nice people - just hope they invest a bit more back into amenities. Saw moose right from the campground, as well as a short bike ride away.

The staff was friendly and helpful The bathrooms were not very clean and one toilet was clogged the whole time we were there. Didn't look like bathrooms had been cleaned in a while. Probably won't be back. 😕

Though it was early August the grass within the park was dead brown, yes the restroom is a double wide older mobile converted to showers, but how much time are you spending in the showers. I for one am looking forward to returning next year, perfection it isn't, but it was exactly what I paid for. Thank you for allowing me the experience of enjoying the area again, I'll be back.

Unimpressed! Bikecamping and planned to stay here with our two travelling families (kids 8-14 years old). The host/owner was trying to charge us $100 for one tent site...stood there for a few seconds thinking he was either joking or going to reoffer at a reasonable price. Didn't happen and sadly this review reflects that. Not a service oriented campground, despite the positive reviews on this site I DO NOT recommend staying here when this level of incompetence for customer service and tourism exists. Poor treatment = poor outcomes. Sad to have to write this but I can't let it be.

I am reviewing this RV park in disgust at what the owner did to my parents while they stayed at this park. After being there 2.5-3 days, my parents left to go eat breakfast. Upon their return, my mother needed to use the restroom quickly so my dad pulled in the exit road which was closest to the ladies room. The owner saw this and became biligerant to mother, who is 80 years old, and demand that they were to check in at the office before entering. My mother felt bullied by this rude man and said they didn't need to check in because they had already been there three days. The man just huffed and turned around and walked off. He didn't even apologise to her. My dad was so upset at how the owner treated my mom that they hooked up the trailer and left even though they had one more day. My parents were so upset by the rudness that they have since put their trailer up for sale. They wont be returning and I hope someone tells this man that he ruined the only fun my parents are able to do. I also hope that anyone considering this RV park will bypass it.
