Overall, a fairly average sushi place. Not bad, not amazing. However, for a town lacking great food, this is definitely one of the better options. Definitely go with the garlic chip roll!

I have been told by numerous people what a wonderful sushi place this is so I just had to try it out. I must say I was very disappointed. Service was great but food was just okay. I ordered tempura shrimp and the tempura was very Doughy not crisp. We also ordered chicken fried rice and it was very greasy. The sushi roll was excellent very fresh. To finish it off we had deep-fried cheesecake which was very good. Of all the hype I have heard about this place I expected more.

I have gone to Kailana many times over the past years, and I recommend it to anyone who asks. The service is good, and seating outside is always relaxing. And the sushi is great, the caterpillar roll is by far my favorite. And they have a vegetarian roll that my sister loves. Overall, my family and I have always been pleasently surprised at how well this restraunt excels our expectations.
