The staff at this location is excellent, but there has to be a better way to admit patients to the hospital. It's crazy to get wheeled down to ER from the clinic at 1:00 PM and have to wait to see an ER doctor to actually admit the patient. Didn't get into a room until 9:00 PM. ER facilities are turned into a holding facility. Not fair to the staff. BTW...Gil is the best.

I checked myself into the emergency room the night of September 14, 2017. The doctor I was assigned to was awful. I knew I needed a pelvic exam and had requested a female doctor. Patients should have the options for different sex doctors. He was very rude and stated there was no female doctor available for treatment. Which is actually okay with me, I just wish he had some kind of compassion towards my request. It was as simple as an apology for not having a female doctor and then advising me on where I could go to find one. I did not get that. Luckily, and is the only reason why am putting two stars is because the nurse saw my pain and devastation. She called a different Kaiser to find out if there was a female doctor and there emergency room. 20 minutes later I arrived at Kaiser on sunset in Los Angeles with the appropriate doctor. Male or female all doctors should have compassion and respect towards a patients individual health request as it is critical towards the patient's comfort. Baldwin Kaiser failed that.

As a mother of a child with autism, I am horrified by my friend's experience with her severely autistic son today. I hope she follows through and makes a report to the medical board and hospital administration... So when I went to check E**** in at the ER at Kaiser, the check-in nurse gave me a really hard time. I was trying to explain the severity of my son's Autism to her, how the waiting room sets him off, and he may possibly have a fractured foot. So she would not allow me to check him in (I had him in the car with the Respite Care Provider, per suggestion of the KP On Call Nurse). I was not able to park in the parking lot and I was parked on the street. The wheelchair would not go all the way to the street because of grass. So, he had to be picked up out of the car, taken to the wheelchair, and brought to check in. As the nurse was giving me the info, she was being really smug and had a bad attitude. I remained calm and told her we would wait outside due to issues with being in the waiting room. She roller her eyes. When E**** was called in, the nurse who was working with him stated, I wasn't aware he was Autistic, but don't worry, I got him. The two nurses, the X-ray technician and the doctor were all fabulous. Rough start, but wonderful ending. E**** does have a fractured foot, in a boot for three weeks.

I've seen the doctors at the general practice when I had a cold and flu, and ive also been to the OBGYN at the Baldwin Park location. Its absolutely HORRIBLE here! I don't recommend anyone to see the doctors here. every appointment ive ever had was a 3-4 hour block. I arrive 15mins before my appt time and I don't see the doctor till 2 hours later. The nurses are rude too! Me and my son go to the Diamond Bar offices now and are extremely happy there.

THIS IS THE BEST KAISER EVER!!! My sick grandpa is always treated properly at this location. The cafe is also really great. It is also really clean!
