Welcome to Kamu Sushi's official Facebook page.

We're located at the mouth of downtown South San Francisco, and we serve high quality Japanese entrees and sushi for both lunch and dinner.

Our restaurant offers customers a cozy environment to relax, take breaks, and to dine in over a casual atmosphere.

Our chefs use only the freshest ingredients from local markets, and we focus on providing our customers with organic, gluten-free entrees that are both tasty and healthy, while free of msg.

In addition to innovative bites served only at Kamu Sushi, we also provide a happy hour menu from 5 PM to 6:30 PM.

The service was great but they only had one server for a crowded Saturday night. The ambience is amazing and the restaurant itself is clean with beautiful decor. The food has great presentations and many items are creative, unique and has personality in terms of preparation, presentation and taste. However, taste is inconsistent, most taste okay to good. Also, all our appetizers came after the rolls. Price of everything except omakase is way too expensive for the kind of taste you get. However, if you are here for the experience, then maybe the price is justified, just maybe.

We stayed in San Francisco for 9 days for vacation. We tried several restaurants, and Kamu sushi was the best restaurant, hands down. We ate there 3 times. I strongly recommend okumase. You will NOT be disappointed. My husband never liked raw fish before. He LOVES it from here. I can't say enough good things about this place. ❤

The food was amazing!! But service... Definitely could have been better especially for what they're charging. Waited awhile to get out first order of food and drinks and wasn't checked on very often. Definitely ask questions about what they have and order things one at time. I also watched the staff do multiple sake bombs with guests.. I'm all for having fun, but do your job first.

New favorite sushi spot! I almost don't want to write this review because I want to keep this spot from getting too crowded. It's small and gets crowded fast. Great ambiance, friendly wait-staff and chefs. Wide selection of rolls and other eats. Our waitress was previously a regular customer and knew what she was talking about. Definitely try the chef's choice omakase. You can set a per person budget and they will put together a delicious selection right then and there. Will be fulfilling many sushi cravings here in the future!
