There's always a wait here but the food is good. The quality of the meat is the best in San Gabriel area. Prices are a little higher than what you would be accustomed to. Go for an easy fix without making the trek to Ktown.

The small beef combo is good and enough for a couple. I like the boneless short rib. Reasonable price for the service and Korean BBQ.

Nikko was super nice! Very helpful for my newbie status at Korean BBQ. Would most definitely come back with more company to help finish the abundant delicious food!

Went there yesterday with 5 other friends. Arrived at 12:30 and asked to be seated. Young man at desk asked if all of our guests were there (he can see that there were only 2 of us then). He said it's house rules that he cannot seat a party until all guests have arrived. I can understand if the place was packed, but there were about 20 tables free at the time and no place to sit at the waiting area. We got upset and demanded that we be seated. He then acquiesced and gave us our table. The girl who took our order never cracked a smile. It being our first time there we didn't know how much meat to order, she just kept writing down what we thought we needed and, at the end of the meal, we should have only ordered 3 orders meats and we ordered 6 orders! It would have been nice if she had told us that we didn't need so much meat. The marinated beef w/ bone tasted the best. The pork w/ fat that was not that tasty even dipped in sauce. Some of the bites of meat were veiny, I would not say that the meat was outstanding. The sides were not the traditional little dishes which I like. They were less choices. The waiters grill for you. Our first grill girl did a wonderful job grilling and she flipped the meat at the right time and cut them evenly and placed them back on the grill evenly. Then the male waiter came and sautéed another meat for us but he didn't cook it long enough before he left. Another female waitress came to grill another piece of meat but she was working our table and another table at the same time, so we were afraid that our meat would be over-cooked. The best thing about the experience at this Korean BBQ was the ventilation, the fan can be pulled down very close to the grill so there's less smoke and smell on you. However, the tables are small, their chairs uncomfortable and your legs are cramped close to the center of the table which is a large cylinder under the grill.
