About what you'd expect from a gas station convenience store. Look for the Valero sign and you'll see the Kangaroo Express store. Gas prices are about the same as other stores in the area.

You might think that all Convenience Stores are the same, but not true. Especially the Clerk Billie! She rocks, and almost makes it her job to make you smile before you leave the store. A pleasant experience, almost everyday!

I have had more problems with the employees at this location than I have pretty much anywhere else in my life. It started with a promotion that kangaroo runs where they offer hotdogs for 25 cents I made up 10 of them 40 minutes before the ending time of the promotion the day it was held and the attendant who is a very heavy-set woman who looks like porky pig ate john candy watched me make them while saliva must have been pooling behind the counter as I saw her holding a mop and she waited for me to get all the way up to the counter before saying that she wouldn't sell me them at the promotional price I told her off and then a hellstorm of bullshit ensued this woman called the police and routinely would try to get me to leave every  time I tried to shop at this location there-after even thought the manager told me it was fine to shop there. I then (being a 25 year old male) attempted to purchase beer a few nights later and a different assistant manager this time a male who looked much like bilbo does when you see him and he tries to get the ring back from frodo in the lord of the rings. told me that he would not take my id because "it was an out of state i.d." even though he had accepted this i.d. numerous times before this night I calmly walked out and called the manager in the morning he informed that this was a company policy and that even though he was the manager he couldn't make the assistant manager accept my i.d. even though he had before and essentially the manager was telling me that he would not make the assistant manager do his job. To this day he continues to refuse me service when I try to buy alcohol but he will accept my i.d. for cigarettes which further illustrates that this is just game playing to him. The most recent incident which was the straw that broke the camels back as it were was last night when a friend of mine purchased three amp energy drinks and the manager who was working who literally to a t looks like the main mutant from the original hills have eyes movie and after buying them for 7.12 I pointed out to him that they were 3 for 5 dollars and this sloth from the goonies looking and sounding gentleman argued this point even when he KNEW I was right and I showed him the sign in the fridge showing the amp energy. I had to call the manager over 2.00 dollars. The people who work here are far to old to work here and it shows in the poor quality of their work and their handling of customers I think they suffer from should have gone to college syndrome.
