Today I was out in the neighborhood taking a walk and stopped by Kangaroo to buy a candy bar but changed my mind. So I replaced the candy and was heading out the store back home to be tapped on the shoulder by the cashier who apparently ran after me. I removed my headphones and was told that I was accused of stealing from the store. Apparently, another person claims to have seen me steal something and told the cashier to come after me. I'm not sure who this lady was but she had a super long pony tail that reached her lower back. I thought she was joking but apparently she was being serious. She said she had already put in her two weeks noticed so she wasn't too worried about the store. Anyways out of disbelief, I asked her if she wanted to search me and she said yes. So I opened up my Camel Pak and emptied my pockets. She realized that she and whoever the accuser was; was DEAD WRONG. And she did not even try to apologize for the false accusation. I AM NEVER EVER GOING BACK TO THIS KANGAROO FOR THE REST OF MY LIFE, NOT EVEN TO PUT AIR IN MY TIRE. I MIGHT GET ACCUSED FOR STEALING AIR!!! Its sad to see that discrimination still exists in today's world. You would think that Kangaroo would be more aware of who they hire into their staff.
