Had an amazing night with my wife for her birthday, the service was top class to match the food. We could not have asked for better food or a better time. I'm sure we will be back to sample a new menu sometime soon. This is a must if you are a local as the views show the whole skyline of NYC and Long Island Sound.
This place used to be the old 42. It's under new management and the service, decor, seating and most importantly the food has been much improved. We were received in the lobby by the staff that escorted to the elevator that would take us to the restaurant. We sere there for late lunch so it was very slow. The person that sat us also served us. He was amazing. Made us feel welcomed and well cared for. The lunch menu is short but varied. The drink options are well though out. My daughter and I will definitely be coming back. Besides the great food, the bathroom were clean and well cared for. And the view of White Plains is amazing. Highly recommend it.
We hosted our recent wedding at Kanopi in White Plains and we couldn't have wished for a better experience. From Colin who manages all events at Kanopi to the team to Chef Anthony, every went above and beyond to craft a once in a lifetime evening filled with the most delicious food we will ever eat. I am not sure how they are able to deliver such an exceptional meal to a large group of people however we are still getting messages from our guests about how delicious it was. If you are thinking of hosting an event, a wedding, a party, Kanopi will exceed any of your expectations.
THEY DID NOT SING HAPPY BIRTHDAY AFTER I TOLD THEM MULTIPLE TIMES!!! When they gave us vegetables/zucchini they only gave us onions in it NO zucchini after we asked for extra the fork had food in it the walls were black looked like mold the toilets were stopped up explosive diarrhea all over the toilets this place was disgusting I highly do NOT RECOMMEND!!!
Chef Anthony Goncalves and his team are creating and producing Michelin level food at this outstanding private restaurant atop the Ritz-Carlton tower in downtown White Plains. Chef Goncalves celebrates his Portuguese roots in his food, but with modern flare. The staff always makes you feel comfortable; as if you were eating in your own home if your home was 42 stories up with sweeping views of NYC, the Hudson Valley and Long Island Sound. I highly recommend reserving a seat at the table inside the kitchen, which accommodates up to six diners. But you can't go wrong with one of the tables with their magnificent views. Hands down, Kanopi is the best restaurant in Westchester County. It's Westchester's most unique and special fine dining establishment.
Kanopi hosted our small wedding. The team there was really helpful and courteous. The food was amazing! All of our guests enjoyed their time here. Would definitely recommend if you're looking for an event space in the area.
Company function with buffet dinner. Food was quite good - far better than I'd hoped for at a company Xmas party.
A huge disappointment! Food wasn’t good at all: fish and steak were over cooked. Nobody even asked how do we like to have our fish or steak, they just served badly cook dishes. Atmosphere was nothing to remember, quite boring even a view didn’t help. Overall big disappointment! I don’t think we ever coming back! What a shame! A previous restaurant at this location was closed, that one was million times better!
I recently held a birthday party at Kanopi in one of its event spaces and I was extremely pleased with the exceptional food and professional service I received. Everything was perfect! Rhe 5-course tasting menu was absolutely delicious and the staff could not have been nicer! I highly recommend Kanopi for private events as well as for dinner at its restaurant.
Very good experience, food was amazing and so are the views. One of the best in westchester if you are looking for a fancy meal.
