This emergency service is absolutely wonderful, the kind of professionals that make America stand out. Our country's first responders are the finest in the world and this group represents the best of the best. Last March I called 911 when I suspected my husband was having a heart attack and KC Fire Station #4 answered the call. When the cardiologist came out to the cath lab waiting room to tell me that my husband had suffered the widow-maker heart attack he said that every decision the ambulance crew made was the exact decision that needed to be made because my husband had only minutes to spare. It was so close he was de-fibbed three times by the hospital emergency cath team during the stent placement and as the nurse told me later, "tried to slip away from us a few times." He just had his year checkup last week and by God's grace, KC Fire Station #4's platinum service and a super cath-team, he's doing great. This is the type of first rate service we all hope and pray we'll get when we need it.
