Love this Karns! For one thing, wide aisles keep it from feeling crowded and for another it's very clean. Produce and deli are amazing. They have items not found elsewhere, too. Staff is helpful and friendly, which I mention a lot but just do not shop where employees do not smile once in awhile. It's expensive, is the thing. Compared to Giant, well, you can't compare them. Prices can be worth it although we do not do our large trips here.

Hands down the best meat department in central Pennsylvania! They also offer very tasty, fresh sushi every day.

I too am very surprised that not more people are commenting on the expiration dates at Karns. I say Karns and not specifically this store because I have experienced the same thing at the Hampden location. I urge every shopper here to CHECK EXPIRATION DATES!! It is likely you are eating at least something expired from Karns. Just yesterday I stopped in to pickup some bread and decided to get a pack of hot dogs as well, 1st 2nd and 3rd pack had expiration dates of 12/18/2017. 4th pack had an expiration date of 1/16/2018. I left the store without hot dogs to say the least. onto the bread. I had to reach way back to find a package with an expiration date greater than the next 2 days. This has been happening for the last 4 years that I've lived in Camp Hill. I only continue to go here because of proximity and prior knowledge of the quality control this company has. I DO NOT purchase any item here without first looking at the expiration dates. Leaving 1 star because it really is unacceptable to sell food like this.
