I really disappointed about service in that store and quality of the candy. I bought candy, and they turned out to be very old and with thick live worms and a web. But the most I didn’t like the attitude of the seller. I accidentally ate one candy and it made me sick. I came to return the candy after an hour, told the seller this. And the seller instead of apologizing told me that I can’t vomit so quickly! Horrible scramble, do not advise you to buy anything there!

I grew up in Russia, Mariupol to be exact. I was looking forward to introducing the tastes I admire to my girlfriend. Failed miserably. Looks good, but the quality and taste was awful with everything we got we got hundreds of dollars worth, a waist. The atmosphere in this place is odd. For good Russian food go to Russia! It is amazing. This place is time frozen Soviet store, pretty freaky.

This place is simply amazing.  I host a night-before-Thanksgiving dinner for family and friends and I catered from here.  It was incredible.  First, ordering was awesome and simple.  Second, the food was delicious.  Ready to hear what we ate so your mouths can water?  1.  Whole roasted turkey with buckwheat.  It is usually roasted with plums and apples but I asked for onion and garlic.  They did it for me and it was delicious.  2.  Salat olivier if you do not know what this is, just go and buy it;  3..  Venegrette beet type salad  4.  Greek salad  5.  Sote which is roasted vegetables in a semi-spicy tomato sauce - amazing for vegetarians and meat eaters alike;  6.  Eggplant salad;  7.  Pickled tomatoes, cabbage, pickles.  Listen, when you celebrate with some liquor, you will want some of this deliciousness.  8.  Roasted potatoes with dill and garlic,  9.  Chicken roullette;  10.  Fried Branzino with a garlic sauce;  11.  Mushroom crepes with cream sauce; and  12.  Black bread; and  13.  Napoleon for dessert.  I asked for my Napoleon on the wet side and they made it that way. Incredible.  This morning, I am dreaming of the mushroom crepes and cream sauce and potatoes and garlic sauce from the fish.  It was an incredible meal.  If you are not Russian/Ukranian and are intimidated, please do not be.  They all speak English and will help you.  Tell them what you like to eat and let them help you.  Yum!

Kashtan did the catering for our large event and everything was Fantastic! The food was delicious and more than enough. All of our guests raved about the food! The presentation was superb and the selections were the finest. All of the catering staff showed up at our venue early, set-up beautifully, and were so professional and helpful throughout our event. I would highly recommend Kashtan catering for your next event.

Love this place, both the cozy banquet hall and the deli next door.  I had a birthday party here for 10 folks and they accommodated us on a holiday evening and for a reasonable-per person price.  The long table was set overflowing, really with tasty appetizers we we got there.  There was another larger, Russian group celebrating something as well, and our tables ended up dancing together by the end of the evening even though we didn't understand each other.  Other reviews that claim this place only caters to Russians seem off base, at least in my experience.  We've been greeted with a great deal of warmth every time we go in, whether to make reservations for an event, to pick up some tasty bits from the deli counter, or just to buy Sevruga by the pound awesome prices on caviar here!

The Kashtan deli next to the restaurant - very rude owner, never coming back. There are better Russian stores nearby that have more reasonable prices too.

The food is beyond words delicious. This family owned market and restaurant is one of the best I have been too. The love and dedication to making the food is top notch, the food has so much flavor. Multiple times I have ordered the food to go and not only was it ready on time, but it was finger licking sooo god when brought home. I highly recommend this place for either dine in or order out!!!!

I recently had the pleasure of dining at Kashtan exceptional Russian cuisine restaurant, and I must say it was a truly delightful experience. From the moment I stepped in, I was greeted with warm hospitality and a cozy atmosphere that transported me straight to Russia. The menu was a culinary journey through the rich flavors and traditional dishes of this fascinating country. Each dish was beautifully presented and bursting with authentic flavors. The borscht was a standout, with its hearty beetroot base and tender beef, while the pelmeni were perfectly cooked and filled with deliciously seasoned meat. The service was impeccable, and the staff's knowledge and passion for Russian cuisine added an extra touch to the overall experience. I highly recommend this restaurant for anyone seeking an unforgettable taste of Russia.

My first time here, and everything about Kashtan was exceptional---the food was DELICIOUS, service was impeccable, the music and atmosphere was 10/10.. we celebrated the most important day of our life here, my son's first bday party, and Kashtan was the BEST decision. Whatever you get, make sure to get the black caviar too! Arkadiy, the owner, is incredibly kind and a gem of a person. Thank you for everything, we will be back soon!
