I've been here twice. The first time I was scared because we were the only people in the place. We followed the waiters recommendations because we didn't know what we were doing. The food was outstanding. We were in Towson today and my husband reminded me of the place. I immediately said yes and was absolutely pleased once again and once again we were the only people in the place. Try it! It's worth the trip. And they deserve to be busy!!!!
Love the food and the atmosphere! We ordered medium spicy and it was great!! Awesome customer service. Menu still says that they refund 2 hours of parking but they no longer do that Vegetarian options: The peanut salad is awesome with a hit of Wasabi. Veg Chili momo is delicious and so is navaratan kurma Dietary restrictions: We can get vegetarian and vegan food
I came here for lunch after a recent visit to Nepal. I felt like I was back there. LOVED the food. The server, a young Nepali student at Towson, was lovely and welcoming. I ordered the dishes I was familiar with from my time in Nepal ... Chicken Momos were excellent, and the accompanying tomato pickle was perfect! Aloo Tama Bodi was my favorite in Nepal and it was perfect, here, too. The Papad was yummy and I especially loved the mint chutney. I accidentally ordered the soy nut instead of the peanut Sadheko but it was super yummy. I went on the mild side for everything - the only thing I wish I had ordered a bit spicier was the Aloo Rama Bodi but I still enjoyed it - that pungent fermented bamboo shoot flavor is a fabulous! All of the woodcarving add a very realistic setting. I don't live in the area but if I did I would come here regularly.
The one and only dining place that gives perfect Nepalese ambience. The restaurant is nicely decorated with traditional art and artifacts that reflect local Nepalese culture. We did order few of the items and MOMO was below our expectation, lamb sekuwa was not cooked properly other that that food was alright compare to prices in a restaurant which gives such an ambience. The owner/Manager was so humble and kind.
Very nice restaurant and the waitress and waiter are always very friendly. The dish has a large portion and is very tasty. Not sure why there are so few people. I’ve been here twice.
Last night, I took a walk around the Towsend area of northern Baltimore. When I passed by this restaurant, the smell was incredible! I knew I had to stop in for dinner. The service was warm and friendly, but the food was even better! I had never had Tikka Masala with lamb before and it was so creamy and delicious! The spices were blended perfectly in a harmony of well-seasoned flavors! It was perfect!
I LOVE! I was so excited to come here and it made my week, like I keep telling everyone about the amazing food I had here. Everything in the pictures was only around $45!!!! Isn’t that insane?! So much delicious food for such a low price. My boyfriend and I love to get a whole array of things and share them so that we get a taste of everything, so we got an order of naan, chicken biryani, tandoori vegetables, and 10 steamed lamb momo. They brought us rice and papadam along with our meal! It was so flavorful, and we almost finished all of it because it was so good. I am definitely coming here again. Our waitress was so nice too, and the ambiance was great.
I had some dinner here take out but the Daal was not fresh and it seems like they warmed up leftovers because I asked for spicy it was bland and it smelled funny my stomach started hurting me a few minutes later.
The samosa chat, and Momo's were delicious. This is my new favorite momo spot!Food: 5/5
What a find! We were in B’more for the Christmas market and wanted to have Indian food, since our town doesn’t have any. The Kathmandu Kitchen was fantastic! Just up in Towson, inexpensive public parking across the street, lovely wait staff, and super yummy food! They toned down the spice for my youngest and I will go up a level my next visit. The flavor was perfect and the portions were optimal. The staff knocked it out of the park, the perfect combination of attentiveness and forbearance, no hovering, no neglect, and they were there when we needed them. Loved it! Vegetarian options: Lots of vegetarian meals. Kid-friendliness: Toned down spice for young ones. Parking: On street and public lot.
