I have come here a few times. The food is ok, but the service varies. If it's a Japanese waiter, it is awesome. If not, it's not that good at all.Food: 4/5
We randomly came to Kazoku and it was a busy pleasant surprise! Every sushi roll and morsel of food we had here was outstanding. They have fresh fish and ingredients. Great happy hour deals. Our waitress Noni was incredibly attentive and provided great service. Highly recommend!Food: 5/5
Best shrimp tempura I ever had so far. Extremely good service as well and the atmosphere was friendly with a high positive energy. Will be back if ever in LA! Only took a picture of the dessert
Found this place based on yelp reviews. We were visiting Griffith observatory and decided to go here for dinner after a nice evening at Griffith observatory. Even though it says they have valet parking inside but it was self parking. We started off with hot sake and then ordered fiery roll, tsunami roll with edamame. Service was pretty and I liked pretty much everything.
An experience like no other!!! They are professionals of texture and masters of flavor. The chicken teriyaki was crisp on the edges and the sauce was perfectly aromatic. The salmon carpaccio is amazing, I highly recommend it to any sashimi lover. The dragon roll shown through with the perfectly cooked eel. And the price, we felt like we were getting a spectacular deal for only about $20 per person! Keep in mind the parking space is small and the restaurant smaller but we could see why there were so many to go orders flying out the door with the quality as great as it is!
Staff was very friendly and the food was amazing, I would highly recommend. Your definitely getting your money worth from the taste to your mouth to the warm friendly atmosphere they provide. They also have a good happy hour.Food: 5/5
I am so upset I forgot to get a picture!! This place was so amazing. The food was so flavorful and full of umami. The service was so quick, knowledgeable and helpful. Happy hour lunch bento box was filled with so much food. The salad dressing had so much depth. The takoyaki had full pieces of octopus in it. The tempura was hot, crisp, and sweet. The rice was perfection. Even the basic rolls were thoughtful. The salmon collar was by far the best and most fresh I’ve had.
This Sushi spot is awesome. Since I met my wife, before we got married and I moved in to L.A., it was our sushi tradition every time I was in town. And it is our favorite place since. Staff is very friendly. The food is just delicious. Everything is fresh and you can see it. they have sea urshin uni sushi Wich a lot of place doesn't propose. The salmon carpaccio need to be tried. Try the roll and specialty roll also. To be honest, there is a lot to try, and you can't try it all in one visit. Price is according to the quality of the food, but not expensive either for a sushi place. There is a parking, free for lunch, valet at dinner time. A really to go place.
Good atmosphere, and very nice staff. My husband and I ordered three rolls - the hot mermaid, the BMC, and the dragon roll. The rolls were great. We had takoyaki as our appetizer, and unfortunately the middle of all of them were cold. Additionally, we felt a bit rushed. We came in at around 1:35, and the place closed at 2:30, so we thought we had plenty of time. However, the waitress seemed to want us to get in and out of the place, which I understand, but still. Also a little pricy, but we’re from Vegas so the prices in LA could just be higher.
Went there on Sunday 2pm for happy hour & it was empty. I was the only one. The service & food was top notch. The chef took pride in his work & he was checking with me how’s the food & everything. I was hungry, so I ordered a lot, but every single time he gave me something & it tasted like it’s better than the last one. The fish tasted fresh & some of the toppings were mind blowing. Not a big time sushi lover, I’m more like baked roll kinda guy. But even I was super impressed by the amazing taste & quality of the foods. It’s a shame how empty the restaurant was. Maybe a lot of sushi places around or maybe they’re in a bad spot in Thai town. But this restaurant definitely deserves more attention & love from sushi lovers. At least they have me as a customer for life :
