"Welcome to KC's Rib Shack Barbecue restaurant. New Hampshire's favorite BBQ for over two decades. At KC's Rib Shack, serving the world's finest hickory-smoked ribs and BBQ is our passion. Our food and exceptional service are definitely two things we take seriously. No white tablecloths here, you'll sit at butcher paper covered tables under the Christmas lights and pull from a roll of paper towels to wipe our homemade BBQ sauces from your face. Our Southern style Barbeque, Bar-B-Que, Bar-B-Cue, just Q, or however you spell it, is seasoned with our own recipe of different dry rubs and cooked without sauce. Its then cut to order and prepared straight from our smokers which run 24 hours a day..."
Table of 6. Service 3/5 Ordered entrees for each person and two starters. Service took some time even tho the restaurant was not busy at all - 4:30 dinner, yes with the grandparents. Food was 4/5 Ribs were pretty good. Cornbread was fantastic. Collard greens lacked seasoning. Dirty rice was nice and dirty. Chinese pie was creamy and meaty, but lacks seasoning too. Wings were had crispy skin and juicy meat. Would recommend. Sausage chunks were mid. Atmosphere 5/5. Enjoyed reading the vanity plates. Other customers and tables were having a good time. Family friendly environment to consume hunks of charred and smoked beast flesh. Vegetarian options: Very little to no vegetarian options Dietary restrictions: Has a gluten-free menu. Parking: Plenty of parking. Free lot. Kid-friendliness: Very welcoming.
I went here for dinner on a Monday night with five coworkers and we really had an enjoyable meal. The restaurant has a rustic vibe and the food simple and delicious. The portions were quite large and we definitely got good value. Try the deviled eggs! The wait staff was attentive and social. I would definitely go back!Food: 5/5
Stopped here after arriving at the airport for some leaf peeping this fall. KCs has a cozy and rustic atmosphere, and the staff were all super friendly. The food was decent. The best things were the chicken, coleslaw, and brisket. Oh and the applesauce. Definitely the applesauce. The pulled pork, cornbread, and onion rings were just okay. The best sauces are the apple and smoked hickory. I also ordered a virgin painkiller to drink and it was amazing, my first time trying a drink like that! For dessert I ordered the maple pecan bacon ice cream and it was just okay. Overall a nice stop and decent BBQ.
This is a great bbq place. Worth a drive if you don’t live near Manchester! Very cool atmosphere and the service was outstanding. The food was delicious! Bacon devil eggs is a sure bet for an appetizer. My ribs were delicious!! And the chili was some of the best I’ve had. Wings were above average and solid beer choices. Corn bread was crazy good!
Delicious food and sauces! Four of us came here and ordered the feedbag shovel and an additional pound of brisket and just polished it off. Went on a Wednesday night and place was surprisingly busy, would recommend maybe making a reservation if more than 2 people. Will be backFood: 5/5
This place is great! BBQ is top notch, service is great and the overall atmosphere is fantastic. Great place to watch a game too even though it was just Rugby that was on the TV. Still trying to sort that game out, its like football not soccer. Stop calling soccer football but with no pads and scrums and what not. Lots of running...and scrums. Anyways, love the shack in ManchVegas baby. The pic is the BBQ platter for two, but I housed it and I'm just one man. Larger than the average man so take that for what it is.
Our family loves the outside deck in the summer! The food is fantastic! All of the servers are absolutely wonderful. I really love that they have live music and also open mic night. Kid-friendliness: My grandkids love going there. Everytime we go there are other kids for them to play with. The kids menu and desserts are the best!
The food here is okay. I’m from the south and eat a lot of barbecue and I have to say this was a weird take on barbecue. Compared to southern barbecue this was very bad. If you’ve never had southern barbecue then you might think this was good but I have to say the pulled pork wasn’t pulled it was huge clumps. The brisket was way too well done and the baked beans were weirdly flavored. To top it all off the bbq sausage was Italian sausage with fennel seeds. The only good thing in my opinion was the collard greens and the corn bread. They didn’t even have Texas toast it was just a piece of white bread that wasn’t even toasted. The prices were high and the food was very disappointing. Idk if this is how they do it in New Hampshire but in Florida this would not fly.
The BBQ here was great and the portion sizes were very generous. The restaurant itself is casual and low-key and it was a nice place to hang out and chat with friends.Food: 5/5
Brisket/bacon sandwich was tasty, but I could have used some more horseradish sauce and fried onions on it. Fries were hot and delicious, and I love to top them with the Apple BBQ sauce.Food: 5/5
