Rarely will I give 5 stars, but OMG!, this little Home style diner definitely earned them! What a hidden treasure. Didn’t realize how much we’ve missed diner grills until we walked into KD’s. Staff was friendly from the opening of the door and cashing out of Check. Menu offers a wide variety that covers a little bit of everything and prices are definitely way below the actual serving size. Our tab was $24 and the portions were GINORMOUS!!!! Brian ordered the full size roast beef po’boy. It came dressed and served with a pickle and chips. The grilled onions were so delicious and the gravy was thick and flavorful. I had a cup of gumbo with a chef salad. The salad was also huge, topped with boiled egg, roast beef, ham and turkey. So good. The gumbo was chicken and sausage with a perfect roux. Definitely now in our top 5 and plan to return over and over again.

Love this place! No frills. Good food. Good prices. Usually crowded but never have to wait very long. Open 24 hours.

This place is pure awesomeness. Food is cooked to perfection. Try the grilled shrimp croissant it's delicious!!

Having just moved to the area we were excited to try this local diner that we drove by. We went on a Sunday morning, and there was a wait, which we expected. After waiting about 10 minutes we were seated. We ordered, and then waited about 30 minutes for our food. When we received our food, the pancakes were burnt, and the food was generally flavorless. They also didn't have whole milk, which always blows my mind because its a common breakfast drink. I'd say the only good thing about the meal was when I got up to pay because our waitress checked on us a total of once after we ordered, we found out that a local gentleman that we had chatted with while waiting for our meal had paid our check. Wouldn't recommend this place, unless your into bland diner food.

Really not pleased with this establishment. We ordered our food over the phone. My boyfriend went to get the food and was not greeted by the guy at register of the young female waiter. And unfortunately I'm guessing his complexion wasn't the most inviting as well. No one acknowledged him until he asked someone for help. They didn't have his name saved under his order and they also didn't give him his food because he couldn't remember one item. The service was very rude, it sucks because we were visiting and now we know this would be the last place we would ever eat at. We called the establishment and the manager was no help. Never again.
