The Kelso House Museum and Brimfield Historical Society is an semi-open air museum located near the center of Brimfield Township. Our ideal location as well as our Six featuers allow us to foucus on the agrarian and community base of Brimfield. Our Research Library and Archives are full of helpful and important Histoic documents and Information.

The Mission of the Kelso House is...
- To Honor the memory of the rural Brimfield Township that existed from its settling in 1816 into the early 1900s and to link that historical past to the present;
- To maintain and make available resources -records, books, photographs, and archival materials- concerned with this rural Wester Reserve township and its place in history - for research and study by intrested, responsible persons;
- To promote intrest in and interpretation of the History of Brimfield Township for the education of its residents, students, teachers the pubnlic and other intrested persons;
- To serve as a center for community gatherings in keeping with the origional, historic uses of the Kelso House, for the enjoyment of residents and passers-by.
