I went with my boyfriend to the court clerks office to have a different court date set for him for a speeding ticket because he will be out of town for the initial one. The judge was with the clerk and chimed in and said no he has to show up to that one or pay the fine now and that if he pleads not guilty that he can already tell him it won't go in his favor and his license will be suspended if he doesn't show. What ever happened to a fair trial? Pretty sure a judge can't tell someone that before they even have a chance to plea. I have never witnessed such a disgrace to the justice system. Safe to say we will be getting a lawyer to handle this now since he was treated with such disrespect and unfairness.

*UPDATE* apparently in Kenmore you can only pay fines on certain days. Tuesday is not one of them. No where on the website or anything given to me stated you couldn't pay fines on Tuesday. I drove all the way from Niagara Falls tonpay my fine on time and the clerk tried to tell me no and I would need to come back the next day. Finally, a gentleman in the office said for her to just accept the payment since I was already there. 

Wish I could could give zero stars! Rudest clerks I have ever dealt with! I called to ask a few questions and the clerk I spoke with was condescending and nasty. Barely answered my questions and then hung up on me! Unbelievable
