First experience with kent equipment went more on the poor side.  Kept shopping around.  Kent City JD seemed much more helpful.  Seemed green was the way i was going.  After more research and shopping, ditched that idea, to many salesmen after numbers and not helping the customer.   Went back into Kent Equipment.  Maybe they had a bad day the first time. Talked to Pat again.  Hooked me up with my new tractor.  Love my KUBOTA and the service after the sale has been even better. Happy to now be a customer of theirs.

My experience at Kent Equipment has been great. Pat was more than helpful and accommodating in purchasing our new CTL. They had excellent pricing and I never felt pressurized into anything. As long as their service department can live up to the standard set by the sales department (no reason to believe they won’t) then I would highly recommend them.

There are 4 Kubota dealers that are closer and we still choose Kent Equipment.

Great experience!!! was looking at a few different tractors and the sales rep spent all the time with me I needed. Very happy with Kent equipment and Pat.

WHERE DO I START!

Originally I was looking for a decently priced zero turn so I started calling around talking to dealers.  I ended up calling Kent Power Equipment because I had business in the same area that day.  Over the phone prior to visiting them in person, I was told by Pat (the Sales Manager) to buy from them because they service what they sell, they bragged about how good the service team assembles the unit and assured me I wouldn't have issues. Also said if I did they would take care of it without any effort of mine and make it as easy as possible. Sounds like a good back-boned dealer right?

Well they lied!  1st off, I got it home, the nuts they tightened when adjusting the handles were stripped which caused them to FALL OFF when I was mowing it the and go out of control.  I called Kent and talked to Pat who forwarded me to Yens's voicemail.  After multiple attempts to Yens I called Pat again which the call ended after we started talking (not sure if their phones lost signal or what), so I called right back SEVERAL TIMES and no answer.  Finally a few days later I get a phone call from Yens saying I needed to provide transportation to their facility at my own expense(1.45 minutes).  I ended up calling the General Manager Brian (who was actually helpful) and Kent Power Equipment came and got my mower that day, fixed it, and brought it back the next day at their expense.  

I went to move it from where it had been parked by Kent Equipment and it's spitting, sputtering, and back firing. I checked the gas and it was low, put gas in it and still did the same thing.  I called Kent Power equipment back to talk to Yens, he wasn't in.  So I called Pat which had Yens call me the following day when he came back in.  Yens said I need to bring it in and pick it back up from them at my own expense(ONCE AGAIN).  

Mind you, it doesn't even have 4 hours on it!!!!!!

I called Husqvarna Directly (cooperate)and they said they provide free transportation(will reimburse the dealer for expenses) for the 1st 30 days from purchasing it anyways!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Talk about not knowing what they are talking about and being dishonest after the sale!  My opinion as of now is all they care about is the sale and nothing further.  I'M BEYOND FRUSTRATED with Kent Power Equipment and ADVISE ANYONE AND EVERYONE TO DO BUSINESS ELSEWHERE!!!!!!!!!!!

Bryan at Kent Equipment was Great to talk with and would Highly Recommend.  I'm in sales myself and  appreciate it when I come across someone that cares about helping the cusotmer. Eventhough I didn't purchase anything this time, I will be back to do buisness with this company over other equipment companies in the area!  Thank you Kent Equipment for the wonderful expierence!
