Story

The Center is housed in a 25,000 sq ft Kentucky limestone facility that includes a travel information area, exhibit & sales galleries featuring Kentucky artisan products, a cafe serving food from 9:30am-3:30pm, and what have been called the "cleanest & best designed restrooms on I-75."

Mission

The Center is dedicated to introducing visitors to the work of Kentucky's artisans, providing economic support for these small businesses, and helping visitors plan their travels in Kentucky.

Products

Products created by over 700 artisans living all across Kentucky, including crafts, paintings and photographs, music recordings, literary arts & publications, specialty food products. Everything is made in Kentucky.

This is a good place for a rest stop but Beware... You may end up buying something.  The arts and crafts range from $ to $$$ and are best quality and variety...fine to folk.  Travel info and brochures, clean rest rooms and full meal and light snacks in food court.  The staff were knowledgeable and friendly.  We got info on Break and Bourbon tours.

This is the very best rest area in America (and I've driven thousands of miles from coast to coast). I have stopped here about 10 times on various trips over the years, and every time, they have had fresh cut flowers in the bathrooms as well as very friendly and helpful staff, wonderful arts and crafts on display for purchase, and snacks and food items. I will actively time my rest stops in order to contrive to stop here rather than anywhere else. You won't be disappointed! You'll be charmed, delighted, and refreshed.

This place seems pretty cool. I only stopped here to use their restrooms as I was driving back to Georgia. They have a coffee shop in here and they sell some artwork. I recommend stopping here if you're on a long car ride.

The Kentucky Artisan Center is a great rest stop to stretch your legs, look around and enjoy the view. although it's a little difficult to find because it's not directly off the highway once you get there you'll be pleasantly surprised by all the local artwork that's available to view and purchase. inside you'll find a place to eat relax have a great cup of coffee and clean restrooms

Neat place to stop if you're looking for high-end local crafts and artwork. Great restroom facilities and looked like a nice snack bar as well.
