I have no desire to shop here. It looks nice and I rather go elsewhere. It's just to small to have a decent selection of products.

Average supermarket, with decent selection but prices are best in area. Fruits and Vegs are ok. I am able to get everything I need. Very good hours. I shop here often.

Way better prices than most groceries in the area. Still suffers from New York City pricing though - like a Campbell's Soup, which is under a buck in most of the US, is often $3+ here.

I like this store a lot. The aisles are actually wide enough. Real estate in NY is so pricey that aisles tend to be narrow. The store is well stocked with lots of products, many of which are organic. The meat, dairy and deli departments are excellent too. My only complaint is that some of the cashiers aren't the friendliest, although some of them are perfectly lovely. I am referring to manners, simple manners, as in I say thank-you and they reply, you're welcome, or have a nice day.

The night manager is a nasty woman to disabled individuals. I went into the store with my identification for my service dog. I was not going to explain to her my medical condition. She first told me, the pup is not allowed, the get him out of the baby seat. I can not carry the dog. However, she has been seen letting others in the store with regular dogs. And, this Key Food is expensive. I agree with the other post, C-Town on 9th Street is a better supermarket. Cheaper prices, better meats, produce, many more sale items and a friendly staff. No Park Slope attitude. C-Town also delivers in the Park Slope area. Out of 5 stars Key Food 7th Ave rate 1 star, because u have to click something.
