FREE public hiking, no pets along nearly 5 miles of pedestrian hiking trails. Well marked. Please check www.sandspringsok.org for calendar of hike dates. Established for FREE forest hikes and outdoor recreational hiking (day use only) through the Sand Springs Parks Department, with a lot of help from the KAF Trail Guides! Porta potties only.

Check this site for last minute weather updates regarding hike events. Several "Hike with Your Dog" hike events, please check website calendar above.

I really liked this park. Super cute, and clean. Not too busy on the days that it’s open. Went with an older lady and my 3 yr old. We managed fine.

Hit all 3 trails yesterday. Take an elderly family member on the .6 mile asphalt ring it is very smooth for strollers or wheelchairs. The Frank trail at 2.8 miles in total is quite easy and fine for young children. Lastly the Wilson trail is truly a primitive trail, will get your heart rate up a bit and in some spots you will need to pay attention to stay on a rather primitive trail.

The new Trail Less Traveled is a well-marked trail. Rated as moderately difficult but probably, more realistically somewhere between easy and moderate. We were excited to see a deer along the trail. We look forward to returning and exploring the other trails on the ground.

Cause of their hours. They are not open every day.. Only certain days of the year? That's Bull?

Great hike close to Tulsa. Trail less traveled was a nice surprise in it terrain.
