I've been to several dermatology and plastic surgery offices.  Dr. Duke Khuu is by far the best.  Very caring, doesn't judge, and takes his time explaining and answering questions.  He doesn't rush out of the room. He's very gentle too; I didn't feel the needle on my face and his fees are reasonable. High Five and Five Stars!!!!

Worst experience I have ever had. I purchased services in bulk and when I went back to use them they said my nurse was no longer working  there and there was nothing on file of my purchases. Showed proof of my purchase and then they tried to say they changed the software they use so that's why at first they couldn't locate them. After the manager being a complete jerk and refused to return my calls I called the better business bureau who contacted khuu dermatology and stated they would not respond. Still have never received my money back even though I have proof and an email from their secretary acknowledging I have  paid for services in advanced. After such unprofessionalism I did not want to go back there I just wanted a refund. Place is so corrupt and unprofessional, would definitely stay clear and go find yourself a trust worthy dermatologist who cares about his patient's and not the money.

The doctor seems competent however his staff is unprofessional and the place looks like a beauty salon decked up to sell product. Fees are high and staff is unhelpful. Tip - Get a bottle of water on a hot day - If you need a sip of water while waiting to be called, there is no water fountain/cooler and the staff said wait till the doctor calls you maybe there's some water inside lol.

Khuu's office has kind staff, but I get the feeling he's more into the business side (i.e., selling procedures) than a patient's health. I had a concern with a mole and have a long history of basal cell carcinoma beginning in my late teens. I've seen several dermatologists because I've moved a bunch. I also personally have studied skin cancers and feel I have a good understanding. Though I know that book smarts and experience differ, none of the doctors I've seen in the past have been so aggressive in wanting to remove so many "questionable" moles. It felt up-sold. He also noticed a small scar on my face that does not bother me in the least, and tried to sell me on treatment for it. I never asked about it--he tried to get me to buy into a cosmetic treatment that had no medical value at all. Maybe he's used to dealing with people who care about such things, but I don't, and I didn't appreciate him pushing me so hard to both remove moles that may-or-may-not have issues in the future and a cosmetic treatment. In the end, I feel like this guy's more about money than he is about dermatology. 

All that said, I do believe he's a competent doctor. He knew his stuff. He's just not for me or anyone else that has a common skin cancer and no interest in over-treatment.

I went to Dr. Khuu last week with a very painful face infection. I was in severe pain and looking for answers as to what my condition was and what I could expect. 
Dr. Khuu answered all of my questions and put me on a routine of prescription face gel and ointment along with oral medication. It has now been about a week and my face is cleared up and healed. I am a senior citizen and have been around a long time and I can tell you that Dr. Khuu is tops, knows his business, caring and professional. The kind of doc you want to go to when you have a problem and want a result.
