A group of five of us went here for a joint-birthday party and had a great hibachi experience. This place isn't as kitschy as some of the other places we've been to, and it was a good thing. It was a bit more authentic and the food was noticeably fresher and better prepared. The hibachi chef still did some of the spatula acrobatics, as well as the onion volcano, but there weren't as many jokes or squirting sake into our mouths - which makes a huge mess. This is a great place for a date, family dinner, or friends' occasion.

Reservations mean absolutely nothing to this place. Be cautious if your on a schedule or have children. The staff, especially the women in front are not personable at all. They are rude when asked how much longer and say they don't know or do not respond. There is absolutely no reservation system. You can tell because they give you a ticket with a number when you walk in. The food here is good. I have been here several times, but all things considers it's not worth the wait.

A place like this needs a better management in terms of queuing the customers. They simply give you a number and no time estimate and you will wait for a long time. They'd simply holler and yell to find the customer next in line. At least they could have used some sort of buzzer system that could notify and track the customer in that noisy place. Also don't count on your reservations. When you get there, you will wait another 45 after 1 hour because management is not able to give you the estimate about the time that the customer needs to wait. May be the staff in the back is not able to catch up with that load. For the food, nothing outstanding or extraordinary, it is just regular food that you can find in any other Japanese or Asian restaurants for much cheaper price and without a wait! My wait took more 1 1/12 hr, but wanted to wait and see if this is really worth it for food, presentation, and price, not really!!

My go to for my birthday every year. Expensive as hell, but amazing for celebrations. Edit: Having gone a few times I feel I can safely say, the hibachi here is amazing... The service however is not. If you're planning to go here, make sure it's not during a busy time or anywhere within 2 hours of their closing time.

Very good dining experience but make sure you come with a big group or you will be dining next to strangers.
