Personally my favorite hibachi I’ve ever had in my life. Been here so many times. I’ve never had a problem with the service, they’ve always been really nice. Their lunch special before 3 I believe is awesome! So much yummy food for less than $10.
Out for a drive in Mandeville and we decided to try Kim Hibachi/Sushi Bar & Grill. A delicious choice!!! Everything was scrumptious!!! From the yum yum sauce to the bang bang sushi to the savory entrees! The servings sizes were filling, definitely worth it!! The atmosphere was cozy and then staff were very friendly, courteous and helpful!! Definitely a place to enjoy.
Been here four times, won't go back. We went for lunch today; ordered the Shrimp and Veg Tempura Appetizer for $6.95, was charged $10.99, ordered Pork Pot sticker Appetizer for $4.25 was charged $5.99, order Sushi Bento Box lunch for $11.99 was charged $13.99. When I questioned the bill she said they had gone up on the prices. They basically where charging 40 to 60% more then the prices on the Menu. See photo's. Don't do business with this establishment.
I picked up shrimp and steak Hibachi lunches and a Cajun roll yesterday. The lunches came with soup/salad and fried rice. All was delicious. Looking forward to my next visit there.
Pretty good sushi for the price ! The delivery was good with the order being delivered before the estimated arrival time. Eel sauce and soy sauce were also very good !
You must order the Cajun roll, one of the best sushi rolls ever! Hibachi chicken and steak were on point! Very generous portions. So delicious This is our new go to Hibachi spot in Mandeville!
Traveling on Christmas day and they were open for us to get dinner. Thank goodness, we were hungry I placed the order inside to go as we had a dog with us. I ordered the Kim special filet hibachi. He had it ready in about 10 minutes and brought it out to the truck for us. Got back to the hotel and it was DELICIOUS! The size was perfect for us to share, and some of the best hibachi I have ever eaten. I think was even better than Kobe Steakhouse in Dallas!! Highly recommend. When we come back in a few months to pick up our boat I am hoping to stop here again!
One of my favorite restaurants in Mandeville. However they changed the chef and now it is terrible. Rice undercooked to the point it was crunchy. Steak was tough and full of gristle. Soup was flavorless and noodles hard. I was so disappointed. I use to go every 2-3 weeks but I won’t go back now.
I do not recommend this place at all. We ordered the Kim special which comes with lobster, shrimp and steak. Well they bring it out saying we have no lobster so gave you extra shrimp. I'm NO I ordered it for the lobster because that's what I wanted, was sharing it. They seriously thought that was ok and no big deal. Well YES it is a big deal. Will not be back. Go someplace else. People might be lucky to have gotten a decent meal but the fact they pulled this stunt turns me off from ever coming back
We went on Sunday at lunch time. The service was not bad. The place looks old and it was kinda disappointing after reading these Google reviews. We ordered tempura chicken as appetizer and if was good. Very tasty and tender. Then we had hibachi chicken and prawns, steak and prawns, and teriyaki. The 3 of them were extremely salty. We couldn't eat half of the food. The waiter didn't ask if we wanted a box, even after he saw there were still a lot of food in the plates. He didn't ask if there was a problem with the food either. I am not going back to this place.
