Part of being a professional is accommodating your patients in times of emergencies. Unfortunately, this office doesn't practice this. My dog was having a bad case of diarrhea over the weekend. Both my husband and I were at work Monday morning when their office opened at 830. My husband requested the vet see our dog after 11 or 12 (to allow time to get back from the city). He was told they only had a 930 appointment or 10 the next day. We ended up taking him to Metropolitan Vet Services (amazing service and staff). Unfortunately, this is not the first issue we've had. After spaying our other dog, the vet left the catheter in her paw. We had to seek emergency care to have it removed because it was after the office closed. When my husband called the next morning to complain, the receptionist asked, why didn't you just leave it and bring her in the morning. Also, more recently, one of my dogs received a booster shot and had a reaction to it shortly after returning home. I called the office and was told they could only see him within the hour because the vets go to lunch and there were no openings later in the day. Luckily, I was able to make it, but when I got there I sat in the room waiting for the vet while she socialized with a client. I am no longer using their services as they have made it clear that my dogs are not important. I've raised dogs all of my life and dealt with different vets. I've never had a vet refuse to provide emergency care for my dogs, except for this vet.

I visited for the first time today and had no problem with the service, (they were great with my elderly dog) but I witnessed a customer being treated very oddly while there and I haven't been able to stop thinking about it. A woman with a sweet puppy had just paid 200 dollars for her dog and asked to schedule a dental appointment for her other dog. She must have canceled several times because in front of the entire reception area the receptionist scolded the woman with the puppy (very loudly) and told her she would not be able to schedule the appointment. The woman seemed very apologetic and explained her dog kept getting into food before the appointment. The receptionist refused again while handing over a receipt. The woman apologized again, and asked if she could bring her dog in the night before and the receptionist finally agreed. I did hear the customer say that she had spent thousands of dollars in the clinic over the years. The entire time this was happening my husband and I kept making eye contact with another woman in the reception area. It was very uncomfortable watching this woman pay over money then be scolded loudly in front of a room full of strangers. The doctors and nurses were really nice, but the receptionist had zero discretion. I felt really bad for the woman as she left. I would hate to spend that kind of money just to be yelled out and humiliated.

Always a freindly smiling staff, Great vets, gave me all the options I had for my puppy and then also suggested a place I could take him to work on good behavior.

Would like to sincerely thank Dr. Arissa, hoping I have that correct, the young lady assistant, sorry can't remember her name, for helping my wife and I put our beloved Lacey to rest. They made a terrible situation somewhat bearable. We are very thankful we have another dog that the clinic supports. From the caring assistants in the front office to the Veterinarians who have cared for our dogs, THANK YOU!
