Honestly, this place is better than most sushi restaurants in Bakersfield. It even looks nicer, not tacky in any way. You almost forget you're in California, let alone Delano.
The owner (the sushi man) is incredibly friendly and knows his stuff.
I'm a huge fan of the hand rolls and as well as the sashimi which I was first hesitant about because the place is nowhere near an ocean.

I know I'd definitely come back here even though it's a 50 minute commute there and back.

Horrible horrible customer service... Food is ok but owners and cook have worst customer service. You are better off going down the street to eat at oishi's place

The ramen was a 4 out of 10. And customer service was a 0 out of 10. No hello/ welcome, Nothing. Horrible experience. Never going there again.

All the rolls we got were delicious, definitely coming here more often.

Service is horrible showed up an hour before closing wouldn't even let me order. The hours on the front of the building say they close at 9 o'clock showed up at 8:01 did not even let me place an order to go. I will not be back to this place. As them gm at a local hotel I will also not be recommending them to our guest.
