Driving back from the rockies to Lincoln we decided to pull over and rest. Wanted something different than a normal hotel. The girl that checked me in was very friendly and helpful. The cabin was small but very clean. The beds were comfortable, the AC worked great as did the satellite television. The greatest thing was using the provided outdoor grill overlooking the lake at sunset. I will definitely be calling next time I am in the area.

More then what I expected, swim beach was a drive but not to bad, a mile or so out. But the view was amazing, the cabin was very comfortable. We sat outside and enjoyed the view most of the time. I would definitely book the same cabin again!! The staff is very friendly!

My husband and I loved staying here. We drove in pretty late and decided to walk, literally, around the corner. There is a large, steep, staircase ascending upwards to a cute little restaurant that has an exceptional overview of the lake. They do serve alcohol so you can drink at dinner and walk back around the corner. It is seated right around the corner from where the water is ejected out from the dam. You can walk from your room around the corner to see it. The room wasn't as clean as it could have been, there was someone's body wash still in the shower and dirt/used contacts on our floor. However, it was well air conditioned, had a useable grill/patio area, and had a cable flat screen tv. For the price, I would recommend it.

Great location to Lake Mcconaughy. Nearby boat ramps, public beaches when the water is lower and nice clean cabins with an awesome view of the lake.

Its a little worn down place but the staff is nice and in the perfect location that is close to lake mac.
