I was traveling from Oregon to NC with my family.  I was profiled for an out of state license plate and stopped in a snow storm. I had a small amount of medical cannabis and was arrested. I hired Kinney Law and could not be.happier with the outcome.  This state trumps up some pretty serious charges and Kinney is a NORML approved attorney. He was confident and had much experience. He knew my judge and even played golf with him on occasion. He charged far less than many others I checked with and I never had to return to South Dakota.

I was traveling from Washington state to Pennsylvania for work. I was pulled over in Rapid City S.D. for speeding. I had some marijuana and extracts with me. I contacted Kinney law on a weekend (Saturday if memory serves) and left a msg. Within the hour was called back by Matt personally. After a short discussion we had agreed on a price. Matt and his associates handled my case in true professional manner. I could not have hoped for a better outcome. Very experienced team as well as friendly people. I would recommend using them for your legal needs no matter the case. 100% good people.

My daughter was traveling from Chicago back to California after school was over last spring.  She got pulled over for speeding and got into legal trouble related to drug possession.  She was being arrested.  I was 2000 miles away and did not know what to do.  I made multiple phone calls and everyone directed me to Matt Kinney.  Matt took my call in the evening.  Lawyers don't do that in California.  He reassured me that we would be able to work through this matter.  Well, long story short, our case was resolved.  My daughter has made significant life changes and Matt and his team were a big part of her positive changes.  Incredible staff.  Matt is a caring good person and I cannot recommend him enough.  It was a great experience!!!
