This is a great facility and the only one of its kind inside the perimeter. I've been coming here for a few years now and really love it. The fact that it is 24 hours is also fantastic. If you're looking to clean your car yourself, there is no better place than right here. The equipment works well, and the area is fairly safe. Support this great business!

Kirkwood Car Wash is a living, breathing icon of our neighborhood (and perhaps all of Intown Atlanta!) -- one of the last of its kind.  The owner, Stuart Brady, takes great care in maintaining the car wash equipment and great pride in providing a safe and ENJOYABLE space for customers to wash their vehicles and meet their neighbors!  That said, it is a SELF SERVICE CAR WASH -- not a high-end detailing place.  Set your expectations and they will be EXCEEDED.

I have been to Kirkwood Car Wash about a dozen times so far and I think it’s great. The equipment works well and the location feels safe (next to a fire/rescue station). Recently, I met Stuart, who is the owner/manager of the facility. He said hello and told me that if I ever encounter problems with the equipment (I haven’t so far- vacuums and washers work great!), that I should just let him know and that he would make it right. I appreciated his forwardness and sincerity about that. It’s a great facility and I’m really glad to have found it. With a little elbow grease, I'm able to clean my car just the way I like it. I like Kirkwood as it is simple and the owner is very friendly. Right next to the firestation so I feel pretty safe. A bonus is that there is an Arden's Garden right across the street for a great juice after cleaning your car.

This self-wash car wash is behind in times.  These days we have car washes that take cards, switch soaps quickly, and spotless rinses(this place has it disabled) or an air dry option.  Don't drive off before drying your car as this water is sure to spot your vehicle.  Location is good, which justifies the 1 star.
