Story

We are committed to providing quality-of-life enhancing opportunities through the management of natural areas and specialized facilities, fostering community stewardship, and offering an outstanding service-oriented environment. Kitsap County's Park and Open Space system currently includes 79 sites totaling 6,344 acres. This includes Heritage Parks, Regional Parks, Community Parks, Natural Resource Areas and Partnership Properties. The Kitsap County Parks Department is responsible for the operation of the Fairgrounds & Event Center and the Village Greens Golf Course. Kitsap County Parks offers numerous rental facilities including community centers, picnic shelters and athletic fields. , fostering community stewardship, and offering an outstanding service-oriented environment.
