Excellent food. Friendly service. I got the stuffed sopapilla plate and it's really good. Food was hot and fresh and the waitress was very friendly. The restaurant is attached to a gas station but don't let that fool you, I highly recommend stopping here on the way through New Mexico. Word of caution: the salsa is spicy!

Great food. Clean restaurant. Nice waiters. We had their biscuits and gravy and French toast. Thick sliced French toast. Buttery biscuits. Generous portions and pretty good prices. The only bad part is the bathrooms in the convenience store it's located in are gross.

Last trip, TERRIBLE. Will not go back! Have been going to Kiva weekly, for months. Have taken the whole family and the tab for 5 was $75.00, not including tip. The service has always been slow and the food takes forever to arrive. Have overlooked BOTH because the FOOD was very good, for Grants, NM. Guess they think the truckers will pay the bills. To heck with a regular group. One of the group has worked locally in Grants for 25 years. Think word of mouth will not affect their business???? I drive 75 miles to take my Mother to lunch, weekly. El Cafecito...here we come, all over 2 plates of cold tacos, with store bought taco shells.
