When I saw some of the bad reviews for this place I knew I had to leave my thoughts. I dined here a good bit pre-pandemic and have gotten takeout several times since then. We have always enjoyed everything. I'd recommend ordering from them directly, and not through food apps. Their prices are slightly cheaper directly and then your money is going to them and not the stupid apps. I just ordered this sweet and sour chicken and was given an estimated delivery time of 45 minutes, but it arrived in about 20.
Food is amazing, but literally 5 times now I've been sent the wrong food while my Fiance's order is always fine. I'm not sure what's so difficult about vegetables in brown sauce, but I'm rarely given that. This time it was chicken with some broccoli and carrots. Every other time it's been even further from my order. I'm sick of watching someone else eat while I pick at rice because I didn't get my food.
My family and I are very picky about our Chinese food. We grew up in a very small town with an amazing family-owned Chinese restaurant that set the bar incredibly high when it comes to this kind of cuisine. Since moving to the Pittsburgh area we've tried so many highly recommended Chinese and Japanese places, some better than others, but none that truly delivered the flavors we were missing. Kiyoshi? DELIVERED 100%. A bonus is that on top of delivering on high expectations, full flavor, and delicious food,- they actually do offer delivery to your location from their website. On top of their delicious food and delivery option, I also want to share that the staff is courteous and kind, which makes huge difference in any restaurant experience. The night we tried them for the first time, we were hesitant due to having so many disappointing tries elsewhere, but I'm so glad we tried them. We will never go anywhere else. Vegetarian options: Lots of options Parking: Large parking lot Wheelchair accessibility: There is wheelchair access.
It's an amazing restaurant that serves stellar Chinese-American cuisine at an affordable price. The sushi is stellar and fresh, the General Tso's is amazing. It's just a solid choice overall in the Moon/Robinson area.Food: 5/5
GOD their fried rice is so gooooood-duhhhh!
We ended been going to Kiyoshi for years after randomly trying them out one day while in the area. They have great food and have been excellent as far as service goes. They took the cake though and prompted this review after my son lost his wallet there. It has been about four days before we thought it was time to call the places we had been the last time he had the wallet. We finally called Kiyoshi and they had the wallet, intact waiting for us to pick it up. What a relief, they’ll always have our business!
This is a Chinese food favorite for friends in the area. Some mixed reviews for this particular time - the girls enjoyed the udon noodles with veggies, but the sauce could have used more flavor, as it was on the verge of being too bland. The guys didn't like their food very much. The kung pao chicken had too much celery and not enough chicken. My husband's general tso's tofu had decent flavor, but it didn't come with any broccoli and he didn't enjoy the tofu texture. And believe me, we have had a lot of different kinds of tofu preparation. He said this is the puffed-up-inside kind, which he doesn't like. It didn't have any crunch. He prefers pressed tofu that is coated with cornstarch/potato flour and fried. He also was trying to order the smaller order of the dish, but instead he was charged for the larger order when he didn't want any leftovers. They missed the mark this time.
Great orange chicken and fried rice. Would recommend the skewers too. Boboa tea wasn't bad. Attentive server for whole dinner.Food: 5/5
Jesús is the best server ever !! He is such an amazing guy. I Love this place. Large portions, friendly staff and very clean. My fav shrimp lo mein.Food: 5/5
They have the best shrimp lo mein ever. When I treat myself to something for dinner it has to be that now. If you like Lo Mein and also like shrimp, the normal Lo Mein with Shrimp is a must-have.
